These Terms regulate your use of various online team productivity, collaboration, and organization tools provided by TinRec, including applications for mobile phones and tablets (collectively, the "Service") and websites (including but not limited to https://www.tinrec.com/).
By accepting these Terms, creating a TinRec account, or accessing/using the Service, you agree to comply with these Terms. Within the extent permitted by law, if you violate these Terms, we reserve the right to suspend your Service or close your account at our sole discretion.
We value your privacy and respect your rights to access, correct, transfer, restrict processing, and delete your data. We collect data through your interactions with our Service. If we process your personal data based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time.

2. Age and Eligibility Requirements
To use the Service, you must:
• Represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
• If you are a minor (aged 13–18), you must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
• Ensure that all registration information submitted to TinRec is truthful, accurate, and complete.
Please refer to our Privacy Policy (including our Cookie Statement) for rules regarding the collection and use of your information. The Privacy Policy is an integral part of these Terms.
4. Registration and Service Principles
• You must create an account to use the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account.
• Data Retention upon Cancellation: After an account is closed, we retain your personal data and recordings for 30 days. After 30 days, all data will be permanently deleted.
1. Website Visitors: Users who only browse the website.
2. Free Users: Users of the free version with limited access to features.
3. Paid Users: Subscribers who pay for specific service tiers and rights.
6. User Rights, Obligations, and Commitments
The Service, website, and all materials (software, design, text, audio, video, etc.) are owned or licensed by TinRec and protected by law.
• Your Content: You retain ownership of your original content. By uploading content to TinRec, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, manage, and reproduce your content solely to provide and improve the Service.
• This license terminates automatically when your account is closed.
Any ideas or suggestions ("Feedback") you provide are non-confidential. TinRec may use such Feedback without restriction or compensation.
Users agree not to:
• Violate any laws or infringe upon the rights of others (privacy, IP, etc.).
• Post defamatory, bullying, obscene, or hateful content.
• Distribute viruses, malware, or engage in unauthorized "scraping" or "crawling."
• Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems.
• Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the Service.
• "As-Is" Basis: The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
• No Guarantee of Accuracy: TinRec does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
• Not for Legal/Medical Use: Information provided by TinRec is for reference only. It does not possess the legal validity of notarization or certification and is not qualified as forensic evidence in court.
• Limitation of Liability: We are not liable for any loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of data resulting from your use of the Service.
If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, notify us immediately at official@tinrec.com. TinRec is not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or resources. These are provided for convenience only. TinRec does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services.
10. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
• You may contact Tinrec via official@tinrec.com to submit any complaints or disputes regarding the Services.
• The formation, execution, and interpretation of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the user’s place of residence.
• Prior to initiating any litigation or other legal proceedings, you and Tinrec shall act in good faith to resolve any dispute through negotiation or consultation. Both parties shall use their best efforts to reach an amicable resolution with respect to any dispute, claim, or issue arising out of or in connection with these Terms, any supplemental terms, or the Services.
• If no mutually agreed resolution is reached within sixty (60) days from the date either party initiates such negotiations, either party may bring a claim before a court of competent jurisdiction located in the user’s place of residence or the place of registration of Tinrec’s principal entity.
TinRec reserves the right to modify or terminate the Service or these Terms at any time. Major changes will be notified to users in advance.
• Entire Agreement: These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TinRec.
• Severability: If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
• Non-Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent.
• Tinrec offers monthly and annual subscription plans, both of which are subject to automatic renewal.
• Prior to the end of each subscription period, the system will automatically charge the user’s selected payment method (such as credit card, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, etc.) and renew the subscription for the next billing cycle.
• Users may cancel the auto-renewal at any time before the end of the current subscription period through the relevant payment platform or account settings. After cancellation, the subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
• If the user does not complete the cancellation before the end of the subscription period, it will be deemed as consent to renewal and authorization for automatic payment.
• Upon successful renewal, a new subscription period will begin. Except where the “unused” condition under this Refund Policy is met, no refunds will be provided.
14. Refund Policy (Applicable to Virtual Goods)
The Tinrec team values user experience and user rights. This service is classified as a virtual good/digital content service. Once used, it is non-recoverable. Therefore, refund requests will be handled in accordance with the following principles. This policy forms an integral part of the Terms of Service.
• Users may submit a refund request by contacting Tinrec customer support. All requests will be reviewed in accordance with this policy.
• Once a virtual product has been activated or used, it is considered fulfilled and is generally non-refundable.
• If the service has not been activated or used after purchase and meets the refund criteria, we will assist with the refund within a reasonable scope.
• If any abnormal or abusive behavior related to the refund mechanism is detected (including but not limited to repeated purchases followed by refund requests, or multiple refund requests within a short period), we reserve the right to reject such requests and restrict future refund eligibility.
• Violation of Tinrec’s Terms of Service or related policies (including but not limited to misuse or account irregularities) may affect or revoke refund eligibility.
• he service must be in an unused and unactivated state (including but not limited to: no recording started, no transcription used, and no service quota consumed).
• Refunds will not be granted for services that have already been used, unless due to system errors or service defects (e.g., service unavailable or features significantly inconsistent with the description).
• For auto-renewed subscriptions, once the renewal is completed, the transaction is considered valid and final. Refunds will not be provided unless the “unused” condition is met.
14.3 Refund Review and Processing
• The Tinrec team will complete the refund eligibility review within 5 business days after receiving the request.
• Once approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method. Changes to the refund method are not supported.
• The refunded amount will be returned within 14 business days after approval to the original payment channel (such as credit card, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, etc.). The actual posting time depends on the payment provider.
• Any fees, taxes, or exchange rate differences incurred through third-party payment providers (such as credit card companies, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, etc.) are charged by those providers, not by Tinrec. Therefore, such fees are generally non-refundable or may be deducted from the refunded amount. The actual refunded amount may differ slightly from the original payment.
